2010 Teacher Training

An overview of the essential systems required for building a competitive bot including:

  1. Design
  2. Structure/frame
  3. Drive systems, motors, gears, belts
  4. Weapons and weapon motors
  5. Electrical systems (batteries, speed controllers, wires, routing)
  6. Radios
  7. Documentation
  8. Resources

The training session will be videotaped and made available to teachers as a resource.
We recommend no more than two teachers and two students per school for attendance at the training sessions.  A brief tour of Hamill Mfg. , a high-tech precision machine shop, will be offered at the end of the session.
Lunch will be provided

(Since the training is at Hamill Manufacturing, all attendees MUST be US citizens.)
